RETINA

On the initial visit, in 2015, to the department of ophthalmology at the First Hospital, our team recognized the importance of establishing a medical and surgical retina service. Retina programs are an essential element of ophthalmology services. The management of trauma, management of many other eye care problems and teaching require the support of a retina service. With the support of the Deseret Foundation the retina service has become the only fully public program providing care for all Mongolians.
