  • OR nursing expertise

The medical survey visit to Mongolia from May 11-19, 2015 was extremely productive.  Our medical team will be able to fulfill its mandate of:

  • providing teaching and transfer of skills at both the university level in Ulaanbaatar as well as in the more remote provincial secondary level hospitals.

  • provide care for those patients who would not normally have access to medical care due to economic and/or geographic reasons.

As we develop MOU’s with the various programs, we will aim at establishing a long-term relationship with the medical community of Mongolia.

The next medical mission is being planned for October 2015 and will concentrate on the following three programs:

  • Dr. Anderson and his team will teach at the Cancer Centre of Mongolia in the head and neck surgery program

  • Dr. Parsons will teach and work with the ophthalmology residents of both the MNUMS and First Hospital

  • Dr. Parsons and Mr. Bullock will undertake a survey visit to the Gobi-Altai region to determine how we can best serve this region
